The Arizona Outdoors Club, based at Arizona State University, is a member-driven organization of students who enjoy outdoor adventures, road trips, and other social gatherings. Whether you’re a highly experienced explorer or a first-timer looking to try something new, you’re welcome to join trips and even lead your own! With over 50 trips hosted in the Fall 2025 semester alone, you’ll always find a trip that suits your schedule, skill level, and preferred activities. The adventures never end!

Camping, picnicking, hiking, kayaking, road trips, biking, backpacking, stargazing, river tubing, climbing, skiing, cookouts, rappelling, surfing, canyoneering, caving, skydiving… you name it! Any member can lead a trip, and there are trips nearly every week you can sign up for!
Unlimited Gear Rentals
Need to borrow a sleeping bag, tent, backpacking bag, climbing gear, wetsuit, or anything else? We have you covered! Contact an officer for more information about what gear we offer to members.
Bonus Perks
We provide tons of bonus perks too! Membership comes with access to our carpool system, so no need to worry if you don’t have your own car! Our members also get discounts at several local rock climbing gyms in Tempe, as well as free stickers and T-shirts provided at meetings. Sometimes, we even provide free food!
