SUMMARY:Oregon Backpacking - Spring Break
DESCRIPTION:This trip will be a multi-day road trip and backpacking experience through California and Southern Oregon\, blending a few major city stops with some of the most scenic landscapes on the West Coast. We’ll break up the drive with stops in Los Angeles and San Francisco\, then continue north along the Pacific Coast Highway (US-101) into Oregon. While there\, we’ll explore coastal cliffs and beaches in the Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor (the picture)\, hike the Trail of Ten Falls\, where you can literally hike behind the waterfalls\, backpack into the old-growth forests of Opal Creek Wilderness\, (here we’ll swim\, cliff jump\, and see some amazing waterfalls)\, check out some amazing views of Crater Lake National Park\, and finish with a proper night’s sleep and some real food nearby in the town of Klamath Falls (which has natural hot springs btw). SUMMARY:Yosemite National Park (Spring Break)
DESCRIPTION:We’ll leave Tempe on March 10 and road-trip into California\, stopping in Joshua Tree for a night of dispersed camping under the stars. From there\, we’ll continue to Yosemite\, spend time exploring the Wawona area and Yosemite Valley\, enjoy some classic viewpoints and scenic hikes\, and soak in the whole national-park experience. After a few adventure-filled days of sightseeing\, nature\, we’ll head back through San Bernardino County before returning to Tempe on March 15. It’s meant to be a relaxed\, fun trip with lots of great views \, just come ready for a good time and cooler mountain weather. \nClick here to view the Trip itinerary\nEstimated Cost Per Person \nYosemite Entry: $100 (non-US citizens) \nVehicle Entry Fee: ~$9 (Free if the driver has the ATB pass) \nCampground: ~$8 \nGas: ~$70–80 \nFood: ~$50  \n⚠️ Weather can be unpredictable.
