We’ll be doing a quick, easy hike up A Mountain on Tuesday night! No hiking experience or equipment required! We will enjoy the beautiful view of the Tempe skyline at night and make some new friends! There’s no need for a driver or a huge time commitment on this trip since we’ll just be walking from campus.
Join us for a beginner’s backpacking trip to the AZ Hot Springs! This is an easy 3-mile hike just downstream from the Hoover Dam. There is tons of stuff to do in this area outside of chilling in the hot springs. We will leave Tempe at 7 am on Saturday.

This trip is a 6 day, 1500 mile scenic road trip through Southern Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico, focused on iconic desert landscapes, rugged mountain hikes, massive cave systems, and 4 surreal national parks. We’ll start by cutting through Saguaro National Park, hike among towering rock spires in Chiricahua National Monument, summit the highest point in Texas at Guadalupe Peak, descend deep underground at Carlsbad Caverns, wander through historic mountain towns and alpine forests, and wrap it all up with sunset at White Sands National Park—one of the most unique landscapes in the U.S.
